Tracks:
    Tapirs have large tracks with 3-4 toes showing in the front tracks and 3 toes showing in the hind track.  The toes are large and rounded.
 
Similar tracks:
    Giant armadillo can leave similar tracks, but they have more pointed toes and the front track only shows a few deep claw marks.
