Tracks:
A small canine track with 4 toes and claws usually showing in the front and hind tracks. The front track is somewhat larger than the hind and the heel pads are very large for a canine.
Similar tracks:
The short-eared dog (Atelocynus microtis) has a proportionally much smaller heel pad. Some small domestic dogs may leave similar tracks. Cat tracks are asymmetrical, have proportionally larger heel pads and usually don’t show claws.
