Tracks:
A large feline track with 4 toes usually showing in the front and hind tracks.  Tracks are asymmetrical with toe 3 usually leading the others.

Similar tracks:
Puma (Puma concolor) tracks are less robust with narrower toes and greater space between the toes and heel pad.  The jaguar also has a proportionally larger heel pad than the puma.  One trick is to use the toes as a guide, for jaguars, all four toes could fit within the heel pad, in puma it is closer to 3 toes.  Canine tracks are more symmetrical and usually have a proportionally smaller heel pad and show claws.
