Tracks:
A small feline track with 4 toes usually showing in the front and hind tracks. Cat tracks are asymmetrical with toe 3 usually leading the others.
Similar tracks:
The margay (Leopardus wiedii) and ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) have larger tracks. In jaguarundi (Puma yagouaroundi) tracks, the toes appear very long and there is considerable space between the toes and the heel pad. Other jungle cats are much larger. Canine tracks are more symmetrical and usually have a proportionally smaller heel pad and show claws.
