Tracks:
    We have no photos of confirmed grison tracks, so we are not exactly sure how the tracks look.  Most large mustelid tracks show 5 toes in both front and hind feet.  Claws usually show.
 
Similar tracks:
    Tayra (Eira barbara) tracks may be similar but tend to register a larger heel pad.  Neotropical otter (Lontra longicaudis) may be similar, but in soft substrate will show webbing.  Coati (Nasua nasua) show large claws in the front track, slender toes, and the toes point forward instead of splaying outward.
 
Notes:
    We believe the photos below may be grison, but we are not sure.  If you have any information or photos of known species, please contact us.
